Buckner, Carrie

Carrie is a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania having received her degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She also holds a second masters in divinity, equipping her to work with individuals of varying faith, theological, and spiritual backgrounds. Carrie sees therapy as an open healing process, in which together we find resolve and hope regarding the client's concerns. She utilizes the psychodynamic style of therapy and encourages client self-determination in which each session the client decides what will be explored. Carrie has found that honestly observing one's past often brings insight to one's present and future. The main goal is for a safe and empathic environment where we can work together around increasing self-awareness and personal self-growth.
