Walter, Sandy


Sandy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor working with PPI since 2008. Sandy currently works in the Leechburg office and recently expanded her role to include seeing clients in the Shadyside office.

She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. Prior to PPI, Sandy worked as a Drug and alcohol counselor working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Sandy specializes in Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Relationship issues, and adolescent behaviors. Sandy enjoys working with individuals, couples, and adolescents using a Cognitive Behavioral Approach. She believes that our thoughts can play a major role in how we view ourselves and the world around us. As she encourages her clients to challenge their thinking, they can successfully change their lives.
